Food Is Medicine Kitchen Was Built to Make Nutrition Make Sense Again

Food is powerful — for hormones, metabolism, sleep, immune function, and the way we feel every day. But most people don’t need another diet. They just need a plan that actually works for their body and their life.

Nutrition Can be Confusing — and It Shouldn’t Be

Most people try to eat “healthy” but end up stuck in:

– conflicting health advice
– restrictive diet culture
– wellness overwhelm
– symptom frustration
– low energy + sleep issues
– midlife hormonal shifts
– metabolic changes
– gut + skin symptoms
– autoimmune flare cycles

It’s not a willpower problem — it’s a clarity problem.

From "Managing" Symptoms to Mastering Your Health

The Story behind Food is Medicine Kitchen

For years, through my work at Courtney Wagner Wellness, I’ve helped women find space to breathe, reset, and listen to their bodies. As a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I’ve had a front-row seat to a beautiful, consistent truth: When my clients changed what was on their plates, their entire worlds shifted.

I saw brain fog lift, energy return, and confidence bloom—not through restriction, but through nourishment.

But then, it got personal.

As I navigated the transitions of perimenopause and menopause, I hit a wall. The strategies that worked in my 30s weren't serving me anymore. I was tired, I felt "off," and I knew I needed to practice what I preached. I leaned into the science of functional nutrition, redesigning my own kitchen to support my changing hormones.

The result wasn't just "better health"—it was a profound transformation in my well-being. I felt stronger, clearer, and more vibrant than I had in years.

I realized that "knowing" food is medicine isn't enough. You need a map.

I created Food is Medicine Kitchen to be that map. I’ve taken the clinical science of nutrition and turned it into a "one-click" reality. No more guessing at the grocery store. No more "what should I eat for my heart/skin/hormones?"

I’ve done the heavy lifting so you can focus on the healing. Whether you are navigating menopause, supporting your heart, or simply reclaiming your energy, I’m here to help you turn your kitchen into your most powerful tool for a life well-lived.
